It offers a diverse range of tools and resources that facilitate interactive, flexible, and student-centered learning environments. This study explores the perceptions of teachers and students on the use of technology in English language education, focusing on its benefits, challenges, and overall impact. Teachers perceive technology as a valuable aid in Enga cing student engagement and providing access to authentic language materials, while also expressing concerns about dependency, technical issues, and unequal access. Students, on the other hand, appreciate the interactivity and flexibility provided by technological tools but acknowledge distractions and over-reliance as potential drawbacks. The research employs qualitative methods, including semi-structured interviews with teachers and focus group discussions with students, to uncover nuanced perspectives. Findings indicate that while technology enhances accessibility and personalized learning, its effectiveness depends on factors such as teacher preparedness, balanced usage, and equitable access. This study underscores the need for professional development for educators and strategic policies to address disparities in access. SD Negeri 18 Angge Palimbatan, as a formal educational institution, requires an effective platform to disseminate information to students, parents, teachers, and the wider community, as well as to improve the quality of school administrative services in a professional manner. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system that serves as the primary medium for managing and delivering information within SD Negeri 18 Angge Palimbatan. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The website was developed using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and MySQL as the database. The main features implemented include school profiles, student data, teacher information, news and announcements, activity galleries, and an admin panel for content management. The testing results show that the information system runs well, is responsive, and can be accessed from various devices. This study aims to explore strategies that make natural science learning more accessible and engaging for these students. Using a literature review of recent research, the paper examines teaching methods that enhance motivation and understanding. Key approaches include hands-on experiments, clear explanations, interactive activities, and the use of real-life examples connected to students’ social and cultural contexts. The findings show that when science lessons are simplified, contextualized, and linked to practical experiences, students become more motivated and confident in their learning. These strategies not only improve comprehension but also make science more meaningful for learners from non-science backgrounds. Traditional teaching methods often fail to adequately prepare students for today’s challenges. This study looks at STEAM education, which brings together Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, and how it can help students in Timor-Leste develop important skills like critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and flexibility. Using a review of existing data, including national policies, reports from international organizations, and successful examples from countries like Finland and Singapore, the study examines key areas such as curriculum, teacher training, school resources, digital tools, and policy support. The results show that STEAM education can make learning more engaging and effective, but Timor-Leste faces problems like limited resources, not enough trained teachers, and no clear national plan for STEAM. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the population being the Class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Sosa for the Academic Year 2024/2025. The class is divided into two groups, one as the experimental class and one as the control class. The experimental class is taught mathematics using the Quantum Learning model and the control class is taught using the conventional learning model. The research instrument consists of a test of students' mathematical communication skills which has been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty index, and discrimination power of the questions. The results of the testing concluded that the mathematical communication ability test for students is suitable for use. The hypothesis testing results showed that the t-value with equal variances assumed is 1.875 while the t-table value for df 52 is 1.675. Therefore, the t-value &gt; t-table indicates that H1 is accepted. According to the research hypothesis in H1, there is an effect of the quantum learning model on students' mathematical communication abilities in class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Sosa for the academic year 2024/2025. Each indicator has the highest mastery percentage in the experimental class (quantum learning) compared to the control class (conventional). The best indicator of mathematical communication ability in the experimental class is indicator 3 (Ability to understand and evaluate mathematical ideas). The sample in this study is Class X-5 as the experimental class and Class X-2 as the control class. The experimental class is taught using the self directed learning model while the control class is taught using the conventional learning model. The aim of this research is to determine whether the self directed learning model has an effect on the mathematical connection skills of Class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Sosa Academic Year 2024/2025. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that the t-value with equal variances assumed is 5.287 with a t-table value of 1.677. Thus, the t-value &gt; t-table, meaning H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the above-mentioned test concluded that there is an influence of the self-directed learning model on the mathematical connection skills of students in class X at SMA Negeri 1 Sosa for the 2024/2025 academic year. The percentage of mastery of mathematical connection indicators is always higher in the experimental class compared to the control class. The best connection skill indicator in the experimental class is indicator 2, which is understanding how mathematical ideas are connected and built upon each other in a comprehensive way at 88.90%. Deep learning in this context emphasizes not only cognitive understanding but also the internalization of values, critical thinking, and character building. By employing a literature-based research design, this study synthesizes recent findings (2019–2024) on how deep learning strategies can transform Pancasila Education into a more meaningful, inclusive, and future-oriented practice. The results indicate that deep learning enhances students’ ability to connect Pancasila values with real-life situations, thereby making learning more contextual and reflective. Moreover, deep learning aligns closely with the goals of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila, which highlights faith, independence, global diversity, collaboration, critical reasoning, and creativity. The integration of digital technology further strengthens the effectiveness of this approach, enabling interactive, project-based, and student-centered learning. Challenges remain, particularly in terms of teachers’ readiness, limited resources, and administrative burdens, which often hinder the full implementation of deep learning practices. Nevertheless, this study concludes that adopting deep learning in Pancasila Education can foster civic literacy, social-emotional competence, and 21st-century skills among students. Seloi-Craic, Aileu, Timor-Leste https://journal.mwsfoundation.or.id/index.php/jised/article/view/175 <p><em>This article discusses the importance of student-centred learning (SCL) strategies for enhancing students’ ability to learn English and their speaking and writing competence at the elementary level in Timor-Leste. The research employed a qualitative design to investigate how teachers focus on SCL strategies to enhance students' language skills and how these strategies are implemented in classroom practice, based on semi-structured interviews with one English teacher and three students at EBC Seloi-Craic in Aileu. Thematic analysis was used to analyse the data, which included the participants' perceptions and experiences. The results indicate that the teacher focused on SCL and included systematic tasks like quizzes, dictations, sentence constructions, and classroom presentations, which gave the students opportunities to express their thoughts. Collaborative learning, differentiated assessment, and motivation support could promote students' confidence, fluency, engagement, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Students attested that SCL provided a supportive classroom atmosphere in which they felt free to communicate and learn from fellow pupils. This study examines the utilization of Face Recognition and QR Code technologies in a dual-mode attendance and payroll system to improve accuracy and efficiency in the management of attendance and payment processing. This research intends to examine the effects of this system on cutting down processing time, diminishing human errors, and enhancing overall cost effectiveness. The research utilized an experimental design with a case study methodology at PT TOTO SUKSES ABADI, where the system was evaluated and its performance assessed prior to and following installation. The results show that the dual-mode system cut down on the time it took to process payroll, got rid of human errors in attendance, and made the whole operation run more smoothly. Also, workers said they were happier since payroll handling was faster and more precise.
